You will lead the end-to-end product ownership of Great Southern Bank’s Home Lending suite, including product design, strategy, delivery of key initiatives, performance reporting, and oversight of pricing and risk settings. Your focus is to keep our home lending offer competitive and customer-led, ensuring we meet customer expectations and deliver strong commercial outcomes. You’ll work proactively across the organisation to optimise pricing, marketing, credit policy, sales execution, and operational processes. You will bring demonstrated achievement in home loan product management, with a track record of delivering measurable growth, margin, customer and risk outcomes You’ll make an impact by: You will work closely with the key members of the value chain to develop customer focused products and propositions. You will work with team members across the wider business including but not limited to finance and treasury to ensure forecasting is accurate and well considered market conditions and competition. As an experienced senior product manager, you will develop the product strategy and roadmap for how we manage our first home loan product set. You will manage our interactions with the government body responsible for the Home Guarantee Schemes You will ensure we fulfill our obligations with respect to our product governance requirements and will work with the teams to ensure we meet them. You will be responsible for the coordination of enterprise effort for new scheme releases and initiative implementation becoming the subject matter expertise support for sales and operations You will lead the development and execution of the strategic roadmap to simplify the technology platforms that support the Bank’s home loan origination, aligned to our Aspire strategy You will work with internal stakeholders on the preparation of monthly reporting and ad-hoc data requests both internally and from the government and regulators. These requests are core requirements for participation in the scheme To succeed in this role you will have: 7–10 years’ experience in Product Management (or a similar role) within Retail Banking or broader Financial Services. Strong prioritisation and organisational capability, with proven experience leading initiatives end-to-end and making sound decisions within delegated authority. Highly developed research, data and analytical skills, including the ability to manipulate datasets, interpret results, and translate insights into clear recommendations and actions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence effectively at all levels and tailor messaging to different audiences. Strong knowledge of Retail Banking products, with lending products preferred (ideally home lending). A collaborative, stakeholder-led approach, building strong relationships and partnerships while influencing and persuading to achieve outcomes. A sharp problem-solving mindset, confident tackling both qualitative and quantitative challenges, and able to manage multiple priorities and projects in parallel. Why Great Southern Bank?
