About the Role Offered on a full-time fixed term basis until 31 December 2026, the Archives Project Officer is responsible for assisting with the management of legacy (paper) records and their transfer to offsite storage, transfer to the Public Record Office or disposal of these records. With some scope for appraisal of digital records. Key accountabilities include: Under the direction of the Manager, Archives & Records appraise, dispose, document and prepare legacy records for transfer to offsite storage or the Public Records Office. Ensuring the successful delivery of legacy records projects, by planning, execution, monitoring and closing out of the project. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that archiving project objectives are delivered on time and within budget. Contributing to the timely and high-quality delivery of archives and records services as directed by the Manager, Archives & records.
