About the role The Communications Engagement and Marketing Officer supports the Customer Experience and Marketing Coordinator in delivering comprehensive marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, drive membership acquisition, and enhance communications across our aquatic centres. This role contributes to the promotion of aquatic facilities and programs through digital marketing, content creation, social media management, customer service and retention initiatives, and direct membership sales activities. Remuneration $71,080.88 - $79,154.92 12% Superannuation Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications Experience in marketing, communications, or customer service and sales roles Demonstrated experience in achieving membership targets and proven success in a similar position Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in social media platforms and social media management tools and understanding of digital marketing principles Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills (Extensive experience with a high commitment to customer service & Ability and confidence to network and build rapport quickly with all stakeholders) Ability to work independently and as part of a team (Demonstrated ability to work closely with and across differing Departments) Proficiency in developing digital content including social media, web assets, photography, and video editing Demonstrated high computer literacy including knowledge of software packages with point-of-sale systems and MS Office Suite Ability to organise work, manage time, and complete multiple tasks with attention to detail Knowledge and understanding with a commitment to implement EEO & WH&S principles.
