We are seeking an intermediate-level Solicitor (2 years PAE) to join our team. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of matters and the opportunity to manage files with appropriate autonomy while working closely with senior practitioners. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed client consultations to identify and clarify legal issues, gather and assess relevant facts and supporting materials, and advise on and implement appropriate legal strategies and actions. Provide legal advice to clients on Australian immigration law and general legal matters, including assessment of eligibility, risks, and available legal options. Manage matters end-to-end, including file strategy, documentation, compliance, and client communication. Conduct legal research and analysis to support court and Tribunal proceedings, including migration review and administrative law matters. Prepare legal documentation and submissions for court and Tribunal proceedings, and assist with advocacy and representation where required. Prepare and lodge visa applications and supporting submissions, and liaise with the Department of Home Affairs and relevant authorities. Assist with transactional legal work, including reviewing and preparing contracts of sale and related documentation. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal instruments in accordance with legislative and professional standards. Maintain accurate and compliant client files, records, and correspondence in accordance with professional conduct obligations. Selection Criteria Bachelor of Laws (LLB or equivalent). Admission as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Current NSW practising certificate. Minimum 2 years’ post-admission experience. Demonstrated experience in Australian immigration law (strongly preferred). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
