The positions will be based in] various regional locations within a team that delivers customer-focused, high-quality planning and development outcomes for current and future and future Queensland communities. Your Responsibilities Assess development applications through the State Assessment and Referral Agency (SARA) to ensure the things that matter to Queenslanders are protected and advanced and deliver expected outputs and products to a high quality and in a timely manner. Give legs to the Planning Act 2016 by helping customers apply it and operate within its bounds. Provide expert advice on a variety of complex land use planning, development and related matters to a range of internal and external clients. Lead plan making processes including coordinating the whole of Government involvement on state interests. Represent the Department in a range of forums, workshops and events. Be an active team member, supporting leadership to manage upcoming work priorities and timeframes and resourcing requirements for your projects. Develop effective working relationships with team members, peers and senior officers within the Queensland Public Sector, and with relevant external organisations.
