We are currently looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator / Body Builder to join our team based in Kewdale. To be considered for this position, you will need to hold trade qualifications and a minimum of 3 years experience in welding and fabrication. You will also need : Full unrestricted Australian working rights A comprehensive toolset Full, valid drivers Licence Experience with parts allocation to service reports Experience with Vehicle Fit outs Aluminium welding experience Plasma, MIG and TIG welding experience Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team You will be responsible for welding and fabrication repairs modifications to road transport equipment. This will include: Fabrication and welding Custom Repairs Manufacture of subframes for cranes and trucks Tipper repairs A Frame Manufacture General trailer repairs and fabrication/trailer refloors / a frame reproduction / suspension repairs /custom modifications Fitting of Tail lifts Working with deadlines Working within budgets Maintaining a safe working area Fit up of skip loaders and hook lifts Parts allocation to service reports Manufacture of custom truck trays This is a full time position working Monday -Thursday 6:00am to 4:00pm Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm (and Saturdays if required) 5:00am to 9:00am.
