This is a Paste Crew role with Westfill Pty Ltd based in Perth, WA, AU Westfill Pty Ltd Role Seniority - junior, mid level More about the Paste Crew role at Westfill Pty Ltd As an Underground Paste Crewman you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of underground paste reticulation systems. About The Role Installation of underground paste reticulation, pipe supports, couplings, elbows etc. Installation of UG dump valves/diverter valves, pressure sensors and instrumentation. Construction of paste walls and bunds. Co-ordinate works with surface plant and mining operation teams. Support supervisors in planning and executing paste infrastructure projects efficiently and within scope. Record and report daily activities, paste line performance, and maintenance requirements accurately. Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, including hazard identification, risk management, and use of appropriate PPE. Work collaboratively with other crews (services, projects, and production) to coordinate paste installation around mining schedules. About you: Minimum of 12 months underground experience essential within paste and projects. Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and underground plant relevant to paste reticulation. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic system faults. Strong focus on safety and hazard awareness. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and confined spaces. Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach. Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and schedules. Must have IT & UG LV Tickets. Current Manual Drivers Licence. Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical to include drug and alcohol screening.
