As a Senior Contracts Administrator / Contract Administrator , you will be a crucial member of the commercial construction and projects management and delivery team on many diverse and interesting projects. You will take ownership of contract management and administration including the procurement of subcontractors, negotiating and letting of contracts, assessment of subcontractor submissions, claims , bank guarantees and retentions. You will be responsible for project cost control, financial reporting, negotiation of variations, establishing appropriate financial protocols and coordination of quality and compliance documentation. Ideally you will be an experienced Contract Administrator in commercial or industrial building works, interiors fit out or construction management projects or alternatively you may be an experienced Building/Construction professional in Australia with proficiency in Project Management Cost Control software. Contract Administrators, Quantity Surveyors, Cost Engineers, Project Engineers and Coordinators, who have relevant experience in Australia in commercial construction and building contract administration using CHEOPS or similar Project Cost Management software programs, would be highly regarded. Diverse experience across complete new full build projects, restorations and interior fit outs would also be a distinct advantage. Your experience in scoping of work from inception, negotiating and letting of contracts and the complete administration and management of construction trade contracts will enhance your suitability.
