Partner with global teams to develop scalable multi-region service models About the Role We are partnering with a global leader in enterprise technology services to recruit an experienced Services Designer with primary focus on the APAC region. This specialist role is based in Melbourne with a hybrid working arrangement: primarily work from home, with one day per week in the office. You will craft tailored, high-value service solutions that integrate Global Services, and Managed Services into wide ranging customer solutions-ensuring operational reliability, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with customer objectives for large-scale deployments. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of end-to-end service solutions, covering Break/Fix, Managed Services, and multivendor support environments Assess technical feasibility, detailed cost structures, and profitability to align proposed solutions with key business and commercial goals Own the full internal approval process for service proposals before customer submission Drive the creation, negotiation, and completion of customer contracts through to signature Work closely with global teams and external partners to build scalable, multi-region service frameworks Prepare and deliver clear, compelling presentations and documentation that articulate the business value of the proposed services Develop and maintain reusable assets such as service design templates, proposal frameworks, costing models, and supporting materials Challenge and refine commercial models to increase competitiveness and enhance overall customer value Produce timely, comprehensive service design documentation Essential Experience & Skills At least 5 years of customer orientated experience in service solution design, proposal development, and contract negotiation Strong capability to read, interpret, and summarize corporate Profit & Loss (P&L) statements In-depth expertise in Break/Fix and Managed Services models, with solid grounding in ITIL principles (ITIL4 preferred) Proven track record in designing global or multi-region service solutions Experience collaborating with partner ecosystems to deliver integrated, multivendor service offerings Solid commercial acumen, including handling deals valued over $1M USD Excellent communication skills - able to convey complex technical and commercial concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders Proficiency in services cost modelling and innovative pricing strategy development Comfortable presenting detailed solutions to senior executives and customer audiences Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional APAC languages are a strong advantage Ability to read and understand complex commercial contracts Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field Prior experience in international or global, cross-functional team environments Relevant certifications including ITIL4, TOGAF, or ISO/IEC 20000 Multilingual skills (especially across APAC languages) desirable but not mandatory This is an outstanding opportunity to apply deep service design expertise to shape enterprise-grade solutions in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment-while enjoying a genuine hybrid setup based in Melbourne.
