About The Company This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a national, industry-leading company and manage the accounts payable function of the business. You will have 3 direct reports and be responsible for the end to end accounts payable process as well as well as assisting with driving change within the accounts payable function. The business has a friendly team culture, and provide a lot of support. They are currently working 3 days from the office and 2 days from home and are flexible with start/finish times. The responsibilities Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the role will include but not be limited to: Managing a team of Accounts Payable Officers to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems Ensure timely and accurate processing and payment of supplier invoices and employee expense claims as well as maintenance of accurate records and reports Drive continual process improvement Assist with month-end closing and cash flow forecasts Reconciliation of bank and supplier reconciliation Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the Vendor Master Data performing timely maintenance work as required Ideal Candidate Profile The successful applicant will have proven leadership experience in a similar Accounts Payable Manager position, along with the following skills and attributes: Strong proven Accounts Payable management experience Experience leading and mentoring a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in a high-volume environment Proven capacity to both develop and execute change management strategy A passionate and positive 'can do' attitude Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to positive influence Immediately available or available on short notice What's on Offer Senior position with large scope to heavily impact the direction of the AP department Hybrid working arrangements Opportunity to drive improvements within the division Enjoyable working environment Be part of a successful company and 'make a difference' within their business, with excellent mentorship To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
