We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of our projects. Position Overview: As a Civil Engineer, your responsibilities are for ensuring the successful delivery of quality projects from start to finish. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the technical, quality and engineering aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is predominantly a Perth based role, with possible FIFO opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets. Assist in project tender submission including compiling project documentation. Collaborate with all necessary stakeholders to ensure timely and smooth project progress. Provide engineering support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring technical solutions are fit for purpose. Maintain documentation of project activities, including plans, designs, reports, and updates accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor project costs and reporting regularly on the project’s financial status. Identify safety and corporate risks and implement effective strategies to keep projects on track. Ensure all activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and Mallard quality requirements. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, challenges, and scope changes. Be proactive to identify innovative solutions to ensure timely project completion. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Proven experience in project engineering or a related field Ability to read and interpret construction drawings A demonstrated understanding of engineering principles Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly Project based computer skills: MS Project; Word; Excel etc Strong problem-solving capabilities with a solutions-focused approach Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines effectively
