Our host is seeking a motivated and reliable 1st Year Apprentice Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic to join their growing team based in Carrum Downs VIC. This role focuses on residential new build projects and offers hands-on training with experienced tradespeople. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Rough-in: Installing refrigerant pipework, electrical cabling, and drain lines prior to plastering. Ducting Installation: Installing flexible ducting for evaporative coolers and split systems. Equipment Installation: Mounting indoor and outdoor units, including high-wall split systems, ducted systems, and evaporative coolers. Commissioning Assistance: Assisting with pressure testing, checking electrical connections, and starting up units under supervision. Maintaining a clean and safe worksite at all times.
