THE ROLE The Homelessness Funded Activity Team in the Homelessness and Housing Support Branch of Homes Victoria is seeking a Senior Project Officer to contribute to the general work of the team and lead specific projects on funded homelessness and housing support activities. They will lead and maintain systems that support strategic oversight and management of homelessness funded activities, provide detailed analysis and authoritative advice on a wide range of funded homelessness and housing support activities, with a focus on innovation, driving change and delivering outcomes for clients. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Contribute to critical projects and continue to review programmatic funding processes and procedures to enhance service delivery and deliver better outcome for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Provide strategic financial management and performance measurement advice to inform policies, projects, investment decisions or initiatives, to enable effective decision making and achievement of outcomes. Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including: Undertaking research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs. Managing projects or sub-projects and being accountable for the successful delivery and completion of the projects/sub-projects within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
