Job Description Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is essential in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and the development of the Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will predominantly work evening shifts and must be available to work weekends as required. Key Responsibilities Include: Oversee and ensure smooth, efficient, and professional daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and conference centre. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the property’s food and beverage offerings to effectively promote to guests and drive revenue. Actively drive revenue through promotions and daily promotional activity, ensuring consistent upselling and engagement from the team. Lead the implementation and ongoing execution of the F&B promotional calendar, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seasonal opportunities. Work closely with the kitchen team to encourage creativity, innovation, and the development of new menu ideas and offerings. Oversee the coordination and execution of conference and events, ensuring all client requirements are delivered to a high standard. Monitor conference and event service delivery, ensuring operational efficiency, attention to detail, and exceptional guest experience. Identify opportunities to maximise conference and events revenue through upselling, tailored packages, and service enhancements. Supervise, coach, and train Food & Beverage Attendants, fostering a high-performing, motivated team culture. Manage staff rostering, workflow, and service standards to ensure operational efficiency and cost control across all F&B outlets and conference operations. Monitor and maintain compliance with RSA, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards. Assist with stock control, ordering, and reporting as required.
