The Opportunity We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced environmental professional to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help lead and deliver environmental approvals and planning projects across Australia, with a focus on resource developments and major infrastructure initiatives. Your day-to-day might include: Leading or supporting environmental assessments and planning projects, particularly in the resource and infrastructure sectors. Coordinating multidisciplinary teams to help deliver approvals that align with project and client goals. Contributing to proposals and business development activities in a collaborative, team-oriented way. Working closely with clients, project managers, and technical specialists (ecologists, acousticians, contaminated land scientists, engineers, designers) to develop practical, forward-thinking solutions. Using data to design monitoring programs and assess environmental impacts of major developments. About You You’re someone who enjoys working collaboratively, solving complex problems, and making a positive impact. You’ll play a key role in shaping best-practice environmental outcomes and supporting the growth of our team. We’re open to a range of backgrounds and experiences, but ideally, you’ll bring: A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Urban Planning, Ecology, or a related field (postgraduate qualifications are a bonus) Around 5–10 years of experience in environmental planning and approvals Experience contributing to or leading projects related to environment impact assessment and approvals, especially in the WA resources sector A solid understanding of environmental legislation and policy frameworks in Australia Familiarity with GIS, data analysis, or digital tools for environmental assessment (helpful but not essential) Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset A passion for mentoring and team development (for senior candidates) If now isn't the right time for you, or you aren't quite mid-career, still reach out!
