Job Description The opportunity We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join the Underground Technical Services team at our Duketon underground operations. In this key technical role, you will provide geotechnical expertise and support to the Duketon South Underground Operations, contributing to mine planning, design, and geotechnical controls aimed at optimising safe and efficient underground mining performance. This is a FIFO position on an 8:6 roster (ex‑Perth). The Main Responsibilities Of This Role Include Underground inspections, geotechnical mapping and core logging Contribute to and maintain a geotechnical QAQC database that is regularly updated and kept to a good standard Undertake geotechnical stability assessments and compile technical reports Assist in the review, development, and implementation of ground support systems and relevant site procedures Auditing of installed ground support against established standards Geotechnical instrumentation installation, data interpretation, and communication Oversight of stope backfilling programs and monitoring of related QAQC programs Support the Duketon South Underground Operation in carrying out geotechnical investigations and analysis Communicate and ensure compliance to standards set out by the Ground Control Management Plan (GCMP) and other management plans Assist Senior Geotechnical Engineer with any project work or day-today tasks About You To be successful for this role, you will have: A degree in engineering or geology, preferably in geotechnical engineering Demonstrated experience in a similar underground environment Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Rocscience, Deswik, Map3D and/or other seismic and CAD software packages Knowledge of the WHS (Mines) Act and Regulations Desired Skills And Experience What we can offer: Career development opportunities Collaborative work environment where your input matters Employee service awards and employee referral incentive Supportive and highly experienced leadership team Wellbeing support for you and your family for personal and professional matters (EAP) Competitive salary with annual incentives As Regis Resources continues its evolution from mid-tier gold miner to a leading Australian gold producer, this is a unique opportunity to join Regis.
