Job Description The opportunity We are looking for an experienced Underground Alternate Manager (Mining Superintendent) to join the team at our Duketon underground operations. Reporting to the Underground Alliance Mining Manager of our Duketon operations, this is a critical on site management role which will lead a team of Superintendents, to ensure strategic accountability and production performance for the underground mining group. This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster (ex-Perth). The Main Responsibilities Of This Role Include Stand in for the UGM during rostered time off Leadership of Health, Safety and Environment standards across the underground operation Management and supervision of the underground mining contractor Ensure that mining activities and expenditures are maintained in line with agreed strategies, priorities, programs and budgets Manage production activities through development of accurate schedules and other relevant information within required timeframes Ensure accurate records and information systems for mining data is maintained and audited to a high standard Manage, mentor and coordination of the Rosemont underground technical team, ensuring they are properly trained and competent Provide technical and operational support, assistance and advice as required Liaise with the Duketon leadership team to ensure that safety, business and production targets are achieved across the operation Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on mining activities as required Prepare and undertake presentations to executive management in respect of mining related activities About You To be successful for this role, you will have: Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering Hold a WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency Advanced MS Excel skills and Deswik capability Desired Skills And Experience What we can offer: Career development opportunities Collaborative work environment where your input matters Employee service awards and employee referral incentive Supportive and highly experienced leadership team Wellbeing support for you and your family for personal and professional matters (EAP) Competitive salary with annual incentives As Regis Resources continues its evolution from mid-tier gold miner to a leading Australian gold producer, this is a unique opportunity to join Regis.
