The Business Genus Fleet Management forms part of the GenusPlus Group and provides fleet support across WA and nationally. Our primary fleet workshop is based in Kenwick, WA , supported by a skilled team of mechanics, auto-electricians, welders, and fleet coordinators. This workshop is further supported by regional depots throughout WA and nationwide, ensuring reliable fleet servicing across all operations. The Role Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager , you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of a fleet of 800 vehicles and plant . Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles and equipment Daily diagnostics, troubleshooting, and breakdown repairs Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs to a high standard Conducting performance testing to reduce equipment downtime Liaising with supervisors regarding job progress and parts requirements Integrating new technology into existing plant and machinery, including component refurbishments Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience Australian trade certified Light Vehicle Mechanic Minimum 3 years’ experience as an LV Mechanic Valid Australian driver’s licence Proven experience in breakdowns and fault finding Strong safety focus and work ethic Effective time management skills Own suitable tools to perform the role Desirable Skills Hydraulics experience (highly desirable) Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights and Crane tickets HR class licence
