Veterans First Consulting is seeking a motivated and compassionate Claims Submission and Support Officer to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll support current and ex-serving military members with their DVA claims, ensuring they receive the fair and accurate compensation they deserve. This is a work-from-home opportunity open to candidates anywhere in Australia . Role Purpose The Claims Submission Team is responsible for preparing, submitting, and managing claims documentation in a timely and accurate manner to support the efficient progression of veteran claims. The Claims Submission and Support Officer is an integral role within this team. Key Responsibilities Administration Complete claim forms accurately and in accordance with DVA requirements Lodge claims and TPAs through the MyOrg system Liaise with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs via email regarding claim submissions and follow up matters Issue required documentation to veterans and providers using DocuSign Monitor the return of required documents and follow up where outstanding Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems Compliance and Procedural Adherence Ensure you remain up to date with all procedural changes Apply all procedures in line with training materials and manuals provided Follow established processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance Professional Standards Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance at all times Demonstrate strong organisation, attention to detail, and time management Uphold VFC values and deliver a high standard of client service Role Requirements: Experience and Skills Clear and professional written communication skills Strong organisation and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy · Ability to manage time, competing priorities and to meet deadlines · Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Educational Background & Qualifications · Possession of, or ability to obtain, a clear police check · Possession of, or ability to obtain, other relevant clearances if required in the State of residence, e.g. Working With Vulnerable People/Children check
