Due to high ongoing customer demand we are looking for multiple people to join our production team. If you enjoy keeping physically active, working in a team environment and don’t like being idle at work then our position is a perfect fit for you. We value reliable, self-motivated people with the right attitude and a good work ethic over those with industry specific experience. As such our positions may suit applicants looking to change industries and/or looking for continued employment with regular, stable and attractive hours of work. Previous experience in a powder coating or industrial spray painting operation, whilst desirable, is not essential. Labouring duties include: Loading / preparing metal for coating Offloading and wrapping of materials Electrostatic Spraying Chemical Pre-treatment Sandblasting General warehousing duties Forklift operation (desirable but not essential) To be successful you MUST have the following attributes: High level of safety awareness to promote a safe work environment Enjoy being consistently on task at work Self starting, quick learner with accuracy and attention to detail Be physically fit (able to lift 20kg) Ability to pass a medical and fitness test Be a reliable team player Have an eye for problem solving and process improvement Efficient and systematic approach to work Effective communication skills A customer oriented, high-quality focus on all work Hours are nominally 7.15am to 3.20pm full-time, 5 days per week with opportunity for additional hours / overtime subject to prevailing work demands.
