The Role We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Supervisor to join our leadership team. This role is primarily day-service, offering a rare hospitality lifestyle balance, with occasional evening functions. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will lead our front-of-house team to deliver seamless, high-end dining experiences. You will be a trusted presence on the floor, ensuring every guest receives the "Bangor treatment." Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support the FOH team to uphold our high service standards. Service Excellence: Oversee daily operations, table bookings, and small functions in a fast-paced environment. Operations: Manage POS systems, bookings, inventory, and stock control/ordering. Growth: Work with management to meet sales targets and KPIs through authentic upselling of our wine and experiences. Your Skills & Experience Experience: Strong hospitality background with 2 years in a leadership role (highly desirable). Knowledge: A passion for food and wine; knowledge of Tasmanian wines is a plus, but we can also train the right person. Leadership: Ability to stay calm under pressure, solve problems on the fly, and mentor junior staff. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with our local community and visitors alike.
