R&D RUBUS Tasmania – Farm & Orchard Supervisor Mountain Blue Farms is looking for a hands-on team member to assist with our berry operations. This role combines fieldwork, irrigation, farm maintenance, and some team supervision in a dynamic, supportive environment. What you’ll do: Operate tractors and spray equipment for crop care Assist with planting, pruning, training, and harvesting General farm and orchard maintenance. Maintain irrigation systems, including repairs, fertiliser application, and record keeping Perform general farm maintenance: mowing, machinery servicing, tunnel upkeep, and minor fabrication Provide supervision of staff during production months and relieve the Site Manager during periods of leave Follow and support WHS procedures, reporting hazards and keeping the farm safe and tidy About you: Practical, hands-on, and willing to get involved in all areas of the farm Experience with tractors, machinery, or irrigation is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions safely Team player with a proactive attitude Why Mountain Blue Farms: Work with one of the world’s leading berry producers Supportive team environment Opportunity to learn a wide range of skills in modern horticulture
