Shift / Deck Engineer – 2:1 Roster (Immediate Start) 10–12 Week Offshore Assignment | Day & Night Shift Rotation | Live‑Aboard Preferred Are you an experienced Shift / Deck Engineer looking for an immediate offshore opportunity? We’re seeking a capable and proactive professional to join our team from now until mid‑May on a 10–12 week assignment, working under the direction of the Senior Project Engineer (SPE). This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in marine or heavy civil environments, strong QA/QC capability, and the confidence to manage PTW, lift planning, and daily reporting in a dynamic offshore setting. About the Role Roster: 2:1 rotation Shifts: 6–6 rotating between day and night shift Duration: Immediate start to mid‑May (approx. 10–12 weeks) Location: Offshore (live‑aboard preferred; return dependent on sea state) You will play a key role supporting daily offshore operations, ensuring safe execution of works, proper documentation, and seamless interface between deck operations, diving teams, and survey contractors. Key Responsibilities Raise and manage Permits to Work (PTW) Prepare Lift Plans for AP approval Conduct on‑site SWMS reviews and audits Complete shift and daily work reports via LinkedSite Prepare and complete relevant QA checklists Compile QA documentation, including photo records, and upload to RiBcx Support and interface closely with the Deck Supervisor Liaise with Diving and Survey contractors Ensure high‑quality documentation, compliance, and safe work practices at all times Skills & Experience Technical Skills Strong QA/QC control and quality system management Preparation of Lift Plans and understanding of lifting operations Competent in daily reporting, documentation, and record keeping Experience preparing SWMS and PTW checklists Knowledge of temporary works systems and checklists Ability to review and approve dockets, including cost coding Relevant Project Experience Piling works Reinforced concrete (RC) or steel structures Bridge construction Temporary works systems Offshore or marine construction experience (highly regarded)
