Discover Your Next Role As a Boiler / Crushing Assistant at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient operation of boilers, turbines and the bagasse system during crushing operations, ensuring steam and power demands are met in compliance with site and statutory requirements. This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season (June - December), including weekends and overtime and day work during the maintenance period (Jan - May). Your Role in Action Steam Systems Specialist: Assist with operation of and monitor steam supply and condensate systems to ensure reliable and efficient energy delivery across the site.Crushing Controller: Assist with the operation of the milling train and crushing station to maintain steady throughput and minimise disruption.Bagasse & Ash Manager: Manage and monitor bagasse, ash and feedwater systems to support continuous boiler operations.Chemistry Champion: Monitor boiler water chemistry and adjust chemical dosing systems to maintain compliance and protect plant integrity.Safety & Compliance Advocate: Conduct all activities in line with site procedures, statutory requirements and high-risk licence conditions. Your Winning Combination The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (including familiarity communicating via UHF) and demonstrable ability to work alongside a range of different people. Basic mechanical skills will be highly regarded.
