Description: The Role Based in our warehouse at Lithgow and reporting to the Logistics Manager, this position is responsible for completing deliveries in a timely manner to Sydney metro areas, Canberra and Newcastle areas. Position holders are required to attain and maintain a HR truck licence and obey all road rules and compliance with heavy vehicle work diary. Responsible for loading and unloading of vehicles on daily basis Responsible to complete all deliveries and pickups in a timely and efficient manner and notify customer 1 hour prior to each delivery. Assisting customer hand unload product when needed Driver is responsible for completing vehicle safety checklist each morning and report issues which cannot be rectified to manager. Driver will be required to maintain and organise frequent servicing and maintenance when required Interacting with customers in a professional conduct Assist warehouse staff when needed with freight and logistics planning Skills and Experiences: Essential Good leadership skills, honest, reliable and adaptable to any situation regarding deliveries With valid HR License Confident and enthusiastic with a positive attitude Sound knowledge of the Sydney Metro and surrounding areas Forklift ticket Valid heavy vehicle drivers licence Desirable 3yrs drving experience with truck and trailer combination Experience in logistics planning WHS knowledge Basic computer skills Strong safety culture
