Included within the Finance, Assets and Business Services Directorate the role is responsible for providing management and support of staff, financial management including budget activities, relationship management with Council’s with regard to facilities management, working with other functional managers to ensure effective and efficient support services are in place for Zone members. About you To be successful in this role you will: Tertiary qualifications in related discipline, or equivalent extensive experience in a business management environment with astute financial management skills Experience in being able to manage business support services including finance, procurement, facilities and fleet assets Experience in partnering with other managers on budget preparation and analysis of financial performance A passion for serving the community through emergency management Willingness to be undertake travel and work occasional evenings and weekends to perform the role What we can offer you You will enjoy a 35-hour work week, with the potential for flexible work arrangements depending on the requirements of the role and operational needs You can enjoy a hybrid work environment, time in the office and time working from home.
