Australian Caravan Centre are currently recruiting, and exciting full-time opportunities exist for General Hands' to join our team at our dealership located in Chinderah. As a General Hand, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that our caravans are not only road-ready but also in impeccable condition for our customers. Your attention to detail will be paramount as you contribute to a range of essential tasks that keep our caravans in top shape. Full time position Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm Chinderah location Hourly rate will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications Your key responsibilities will be: Conducting thorough inspections on new and second-hand caravans, checking the function and condition of all fittings and appliances Fitting a large range of accessories Diagnose problems and carry out repairs or maintenance work Silicon/caulking work Ensuring that the handover schedule is on time for the ultimate customer experience on the delivery of their new caravan. Bearing and brake servicing of new and second-hand caravans and campers Warranty and repair work (cladding and plywood repairs) Diagnose and resolve warranty concerns on existing caravans Ensuring all new and used caravans are immaculately detailed ready for delivery, display and industry shows. Daily general maintenance around the dealership (rubbish collection, gardening, weeding, painting, picking up wheel chocks, picking up loose leads etc). Movement of stock around the dealership. Maintain a neat and tidy workspace Assist in upskilling future junior techs Assist with the day-to-day duties in the workshop About you: Qualifications: Certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Service and Repair or relevant experience in caravan servicing and repairs Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of 12V and 240V systems is a plus Problem Solving: Experience in fault diagnosis is highly regarded Hands-On Skills: Competency with power tools and a forklift license (preferred but not essential) Personal Attributes: Strong time management, a neat and tidy work ethic, and a self-motivated attitude Team Spirit: The ability to collaborate effectively with others To apply please submit a CV and a cover letter highlighting your suitability for this position through Seek, including your availability.
