Australian Caravan Centre is currently recruiting, and an exciting full-time opportunity exists for a Caravan Service Technician to join our team at our dealership located in Chinderah. As a Service Tech, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing caravans to the highest standards. Your auto electrical, technical expertise and attention to detail will ensure our customers receive a top-quality product, whether it’s a new caravan or a well-maintained second-hand model. Full-time position Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Location: Chinderah NSW Hourly rate will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications Your Key Responsibilities Will Be: Diagnosing and repairing caravan issues, including mechanical, electrical, and structural concerns. Conducting thorough inspections on new and second-hand caravans, ensuring all components function correctly. Performing warranty and general repair work, including cladding and plywood repairs. Completing silicon/caulking work to ensure weatherproofing. Fitting a wide range of caravan accessories. Servicing bearings and brakes on both new and second-hand caravans. Troubleshooting and resolving 12V & 240V electrical and plumbing issues. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Assisting in upskilling junior technicians and apprentices. About You: Qualifications: Certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Service and Repair or relevant experience in caravan servicing and repairs. Technical Skills: Auto Electrician Background preferred. Sound knowledge of 12V and 240V systems is a plus. Problem-Solving: Experience in fault diagnosis is highly regarded. Hands-On Skills: Proficiency with power tools; a forklift license is preferred but not essential. Personal Attributes: Strong time management, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
