About the role Immediate start needed As a Yard Hand / Forklift Operator at Star Transport, you will play a key role in the efficient operations of our warehousing and distribution centre in Forrestfield, Western Australia. This is a casual position with possibility to go Fulltime in the future. The role will see you operating forklifts, assisting with loading and unloading of trucks, and maintaining the general cleanliness and organisation of our yard and warehouse facilities. Your strong work ethic and attention to safety will be essential in this fast-paced environment. What you'll be doing Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks Filling out cart notes and checking for correct details of goods Preforming forklift prechecks and reporting any issues Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse and yard environment Performing general labouring duties as required Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures What we're looking for Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar warehousing/logistics role Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Good communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow instructions and work independently as required Applicant must have the following - Current High Risk Forklift Ticket - Able to pass Drug & Alcohol Test - HR (advantageous) - MC (advantageous) Forward Resumes to startransport.com.au
