Job Title Sales Assistant Location Serene Residences, Tweed Heads – NSW Employment Type Full-time or will consider perm part time for the right person Reports To Sales Manager Position Summary The Sales Assistant will play a key role in supporting the sales and marketing activities for Serene Residences, a new retirement village development in Tweed Heads. This position assists the sales team in delivering a high-quality customer experience to prospective residents and their families, supporting the end-to-end sales process from enquiry through to settlement. The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a compassionate, service-oriented approach. Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Support Act as a first point of contact for prospective residents and their families Respond to sales enquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins in a professional and timely manner Assist with scheduling and coordinating sales appointments, events, and information sessions Support the Sales Manager during promotional events Maintain accurate records of enquiries, appointments, and follow-ups Marketing & Display Management Assist with the presentation and upkeep of sales office Ensure brochures, contracts, and sales materials are current and well-presented Support marketing campaigns, launches, and community information events Assist with CRM updates and reporting Administrative & Contract Support Prepare sales documentation and assist with contract administration Coordinate with legal, finance, and development teams as required Track deposits, expressions of interest, and settlement milestones Maintain confidentiality of all client and commercial information Relationship Management Build positive, trusting relationships with prospective residents and stakeholders Provide clear and accurate information regarding village lifestyle, services, and pricing Assist with follow-up communications to support sales conversion Compliance & Governance Ensure sales processes align with relevant retirement living legislation and company policies Support compliance with NSW retirement village regulations Adhere to ethical sales practices and privacy requirements Skills & Experience Essential Previous experience in sales support, administration, customer service, or real estate Strong interpersonal and communication skills High level of organisation and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Professional presentation and manner Desirable Experience in retirement living, aged care, property development, or off-the-plan sales Understanding of NSW retirement village legislation Experience supporting contracts or property settlements Personal Attributes Empathetic and respectful approach when working with older people Proactive and self-motivated Trustworthy and discreet Customer-focused with a consultative sales mindset Working Conditions May include evening or weekend work to support events from time to time Police Check and right to work in Australia required What We Offer Opportunity to be part of an exciting new development from launch to completion Supportive and collaborative sales environment Training in retirement living sales and compliance Competitive remuneration Equal Opportunity Employer We are committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage applications from all qualified candidates
