About the role In this new and exciting role you will lead a team of Case Workers to support families and children to navigate complex Child Protection systems, overcome psychosocial barriers and work towards improving their overall family functioning and connection. You will hold responsibility for the overall decision making within the programs day to day delivery to ensure that service users are supported through trauma informed practice along with person-centred and strengths-based strategies. You will also support and guide incident management, ensure effective triage processes and facilitate and record regular supervision. Leading a team, you will provide ongoing coaching and support, driving a values-based culture. This role is being offered as a Part or Full Time Permanent opportunity based in Geraldton with some travel to Carnarvon and Meekatharra as required. About you We are looking for someone who is passionate about leading a team who works alongside high-risk children and families. You will possess: Relevant bachelor’s degree (preferred) Demonstrated specialist knowledge and experience in trauma informed practice Experience coaching, mentoring and developing a team Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and liaise in an informative and positive manner Experience in service coordination and team leadership with the focus in building a strong team culture Drivers Licence Working with Children Check (WWCC) National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months) About the benefits You'll become part of an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming Western Australian organisation passionately committed to making a meaningful impact in the local community.
