Working under the direction of the National Technical Solutions Manager, the role partners closely with sales teams to support contract compliance and value delivery. It focuses on optimising the application of Mobil and Ampol products and services across customer operations. The role is highly field-based, travelling extensively across Queensland to deliver site-based value. Safety, compliance and customer outcomes sit at the core of all activities. Key Responsibilities Deliver technical services that optimise the application and performance of Mobil and Ampol products and services, creating measurable value for Ampol and its B2B customers Implement and manage approved technical support programs to meet contract compliance, customer KPIs and agreed value outcomes Partner with the National Technical Solutions Manager and sales teams to align technical activities with business and sector priorities Execute extensive site-based technical activities across Queensland, supporting customer operations and value delivery Document, validate and communicate customer value outcomes while operating in line with safety, corporate governance and compliance requirements Qualifications About You You’re a hands-on, practical thinker who knows how to get things done while keeping the bigger picture in mind. You enjoy working closely with customers, understanding their challenges, and finding solutions that make a real difference. You communicate clearly, build strong relationships, and work well with colleagues across the business. Comfortable on customer sites and in fast-moving environments, you adapt to changing priorities without losing focus on safety or results. You’re proactive, curious, and motivated to create value for both your customers and Ampol. Key Skills and Experience Strong communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage and influence both customers and internal stakeholders Highly customer-focused, delivering practical solutions that balance operational and commercial outcomes Proven ability to turn strategy into action and take ownership of results in complex environments Commercially aware with analytical, problem-solving and innovative thinking, resilient under pressure Experience in heavy mining is essential, with exposure to lubricants, manufacturing, transport or mining; tertiary qualifications in science, mechanical or engineering disciplines are desirable, with trade qualifications in mechanical or automotive fields also considered Additional Information Our benefits Our total remuneration is competitive.
