In this role, you will support the development, review, improvement, and digital transformation of Safe System of Work documents and operational procedures across HCA. Reporting to the General Manager - Service, you will work closely with engineering, workshop, field service, remanufacturing, WHS, QA, and branch teams to ensure our technical documentation is clear, accurate, compliant, and accessible to our people. Key Responsibilities: Develop, review, and maintain high‑quality technical documentation. Convert complex technical information into clear work instructions. Ensure alignment with AS/NZS ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 standards. Partner with stakeholders across branches to gather and validate operational information. Support governance, assurance checks, and updates following incident investigations. Contribute to creating and delivering SWP training materials. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to safety and operational processes. Travel intrastate and interstate to operational sites as required. About You You thrive in a collaborative environment and have a passion for accuracy, safety, and operational excellence. You enjoy refining processes and creating documentation that genuinely helps people perform their work safely and efficiently. You will bring: 3-5 years’ experience in mining or heavy equipment manufacturing. Strong knowledge of Hitachi Construction & Mining Equipment and maintenance strategies. Demonstrated experience developing or interpreting technical work instructions or project documentation. Effective communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups. Strong problem‑solving ability and a structured approach to planning and execution. A Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification (essential). Experience conducting quality system assurance checks (advantageous but not essential). You are someone who: Shows ownership, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset.
