Job Purpose This position provides expertise and support to the Infrastructure and Assets LOB and to oversee the project deliverables across the portfolio. The position will manage a team of P&C professionals to support the end-to-end P&C deliverables for the Transport business. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality P&C expertise to the Transport Leadership team and portfolio Delivery of the P&C strategy aligned to the portfolio Coaching and development of UGL Transport staff Support the change processes by building a shared enthusiasm and purpose for change and supporting individuals in the business to manage change Provide timely and accurate P&C/ER/IR advice to supervisors and managers Give advice to functional managers and employees on a range of HR issues including remuneration, and retention initiatives and succession planning Support the implementation of people management programs for the business sector e.g. Workforce Planning, Performance Review, Remuneration Planning, Succession Planning and Talent Profiling Support effective utilisation of the Performance Review and Salary Review Processes within the Divisions, providing performance review and development training for all staff and managers as necessary Support managers on all IR matters including; EA negotiation including bargaining parameters, leading good faith bargaining, EA interpretation, union matters and disputes Provide advice, advocacy and specialist expertise regarding a broad range of IR and ER issues Actively participate in the broader P&C Manager cohort across UGL Transport Adhere to reporting requirements Manage the Business Partner in the provision of service and advice to the line of business. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in HR (preferred), Law, Psychology 10 years’ experience in a previous HR Business Partnering or Management position Experience leading a team of human resource professionals Previous experience in a similar industry (desirable) Experience in working within a dispersed, remote team (travel required) Understanding of workplace relations legislation (e.g. EEO and diversity) DIVERSITY We embrace diversity in all its forms, backgrounds, ideas, work styles, and perspectives.
