Technical Officer – IT Support Brisbane CBD | Hybrid $38.85 per hour 3 month contract | Scopes for extensions We are seeking a Technical Officer to provide operational IT support within a large and complex enterprise environment. This role will see you delivering both onsite and remote technical support, ensuring systems and end users are supported effectively while maintaining high service standards. You will work across a primarily Microsoft-based environment , supporting core infrastructure, business applications and end user computing while contributing to a responsive and reliable IT service. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 1–2 technical support across desktop environments, applications and infrastructure. Deliver onsite and remote IT support , troubleshooting and resolving incidents in a timely manner. Configure, install, monitor and maintain ICT systems and environments. Accurately triage, diagnose and escalate incidents where required. Maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles and work instructions. Assist in training and supporting end users with desktop applications and systems. Manage workload effectively to meet defined service levels and operational deadlines . Work collaboratively with stakeholders to provide strong customer-focused IT support . About You Experience providing Level 1/2 IT support in an enterprise environment. Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft desktop environments . Experience supporting end user computing, systems and applications . Ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve technical incidents effectively. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills , with a customer-focused approach. Ability to prioritise tasks and work within IT service management processes .
