About the Role Reporting to the National Injury & Workers Compensation Manager, this role is part of the national HSEQ shared services team and provides administrative and coordination support across workers compensation and return to work processes. You will be responsible for maintaining claim registers, tracking certificates of capacity, lodging injury notifications, supporting documentation management, and liaising with stakeholders including site managers, insurers, rehabilitation providers, and injured workers. This is a hands-on administrative role, ideal for someone looking to progress into Return to Work coordination while gaining exposure to different workers compensation schemes across multiple states. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support for workers compensation and return to work processes Maintain accurate claim registers, tracking key dates, milestones, and documentation Lodge injury notifications and coordinate wage reimbursement documentation Communicate professionally with injured workers, site managers, insurers, and medical providers Monitor and reconcile claims data across systems and insurer portals Escalate complex or clinical claims to the National Injury & Workers Compensation Manager Assist with reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance activities Participate in structured training and development for RTW progression Skills & Experience 1 year exposure to workers compensation, injury management, within a high-risk, blue-collar industry Strong attention to detail and data management skills Confident communicator, able to deal with blue-collar workforce and external providers Organised, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities across jurisdictions Experience handling confidential and sensitive information Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Culture The business offers a supportive and collaborative office environment, with opportunities to work on national projects and grow within the HSEQ team.
