Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager, the IT Officer will play a crucial role in the successful operation of the plant. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong knowledge of PC’s and Windows Systems and a technical background in computing and/or electronics. Your key responsibilities will include: Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on plant IT assets Installation and configuration of new equipment such as computer desktops and industrial printers Installation and configuration of software across a range of platforms Monitoring, responding and diagnosing all facets of daily IT issues through the plant Troubleshooting and resolving user issues as they occur Escalating issues to the broader IT support team whilst maintaining responsibility for close out Developing effective relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders Undertaking various reporting and data tracking About You Ability to work professionally and effectively within a team environment as well as the ability to work unsupervised Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills - with the ability to explain technical issues to a non-technical user base Highly developed time management skills including prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines Strong attention to detail Must be able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment High standard of computer literacy Previous experience working with varied IT hardware, Software and Operating Systems Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and diagnostic skills Previous experience in a factory or process setting advantageous J-18808-Ljbffr
