Document Controller As Southern Launch continues to deliver complex and highly regulated space missions, the Document Controller plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity, accessibility and compliance of project and operational documentation. This role is responsible for managing controlled documentation across engineering, operations and project activities, ensuring documents are accurately maintained, approved and distributed in line with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites, the Document Controller supports operational readiness, project delivery and compliance through strong document control practices, responsibilities will include: Establish and maintain efficient document control systems, databases, and registers for project and operational documentation across multiple sites. Manage the receipt, registration, tracking, and distribution of documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and version control. Implement and maintain workflows for the review, approval, and release of design documentation, procedures, certifications, and records. Ensure all document submissions and records comply with internal standards, project requirements, and regulatory or customer specifications. Maintain current and approved versions of all controlled documents, ensuring timely issue to relevant project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Support engineering, operations, and project teams by providing timely access to controlled documents and data. Coordinate audits, generate document status reports, and support compliance reporting. Provide guidance and training to staff on document control processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards. Contribute to continuous improvement of document control systems and processes. About you Must be an Australian citizen. Proven experience in document control, records management or project administration. Experience working in controlled or regulated environments such as aerospace, defence, construction or infrastructure. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and commitment to data accuracy. Proficiency with document management systems within the Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams. The ability to work independently while managing competing priorities and deadlines. A proactive, structured and process‑driven approach to work.
