The role: We are seeking a part-time replacement Music Education Support Officer for Term 2 2026 working 18 hours per week. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised individual to join our team as a Music Education Support Officer for Term 2, 2026. You will work within a dedicated, supportive team to support the operations of the curricular and co-curricular Music Program. You will be flexible and adaptable in your work approach, with high level administrative and communication skills as you support our students and College community. Key responsibilities include: Provide administrative support for the operational requirements of our students and tutors as part of the curriculum and co-curricular Music Program. Provide administrative support for the allocation and management of resources within Music Programs, including purchasing, distribution and return of equipment and resources. Provide administrative support to the Arts and Activities Coordinator for the coordination of College events and performances at the Senior School. Support the Arts and Activities Coordinator in liaising with external music organisations to facilitate College involvement in competitions and events. Facilitate operational processes to support Curriculum and Co-Curricular Music Events, for example Music Camp, Generations in Jazz, and Intercol. The successful candidate will: High levels of administrative skills for facilitating delivery of the Music Program Demonstrated commitment to community and culture through the Music Program Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Collaborative approach with staff members, students and parents High levels of confidentiality. Efficient organisational skills and initiative. Passion for music. Possess, or be willing to obtain, a Working with Child Check (WWCC) and a Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect-education & Care (RRHAN–EC) training. Be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work practices and management strategies. Have an affinity with, and preparedness to support the Catholic ethos and Ignatian charism of the College.
