About the Team The Property Unit supports the University in achieving its objectives through the provision, enhancement and management of the built environment and facilities in accordance with forecast needs. The Property Unit is responsible for the planning and delivery of projects through the University’s annual Capex and Major Maintenance budgets. The Property Unit comprises of the following areas – Security and Emergency Management, Capital Works, Space Management, Facilities Management and Sustainability. About the Role The Facilities Hire Officer is accountable for the successful delivery of internal, community and commercial events at UTS. This role involves client liaison, stakeholder management, invoicing, event day support and ensuring the success of all your events, while increasing revenue and business for the University. If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for: • Delivering professional event and venue management services, ensuring client requirements are clearly understood, coordinated effectively, and events are executed to a high standard with strong client satisfaction.• Managing financial, procurement, and WHS administration within Facilities Hire, ensuring accurate records, compliant processes, timely invoicing, and effective risk mitigation for events.• Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery and positive outcomes for clients and service providers.• Promoting University facilities to maximise revenue, maintain accurate marketing materials and website content, and identify suitable venues and campus spaces to meet diverse client needs. Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range: $107,402 - $118,813 pa (HEW 7) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
