Chocolate Destinations Group is recruiting for an experienced, hands-on Café Team Leader at our stunning Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery. This important and exciting role will see you working closely with the Café Manager leading the passionate team in our 300 seat Café which is open 9am to 5pm, 7 days per week. The Role We’re looking for a confident and experienced FOH professional to help lead service on the floor. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in the rhythm of service. You’ll work closely with our Cafe Manager, Café Supervisor and kitchen team to ensure smooth, high-energy shifts with warmth and precision. We’re seeking someone who can hold standards, support the team and maintain calm control during busy services. We’re ideally hiring on a permanent full-time basis (38 hours), working Wednesday to Sunday. Part-time (30-32 hours) may be considered for the right candidate. What You’ll Be Doing Leading in customer service and running sections with confidence Supporting junior team members during shifts Assisting the Café Manager with daily service flow Maintaining high service standards and team energy Managing guest feedback and resolving issues professionally Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures What You Bring Minimum 1 year experience in a senior hospitality FOH role Strong floor awareness and composure under pressure Clear, direct communication Solid understanding of food safety A genuine passion for customer service and hospitality Thrives in a fast paced, energetic, dynamic environment Australian work rights What Sets Us Apart We care deeply about the details—from the guest experience to how we support each other as a team.
