The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years. The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments including: Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga) Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) RAAF Base Wagga The proposed capital investment of $2 billion will incorporate a variety of elements including: Construction of new messing and living in accommodation Construction of new training facilities Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services For further information please visit the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture Website https://rrjv.com.au/ The opportunity We currently have an opportunity for a Site Supervisor – Infrastructure to join our team at the RAAF Base, Wagga Wagga to coordinate on-site personnel, plant, and subcontractors to safely deliver construction packages in line with project programs, quality standards, and Zero Harm objectives. What you’ll do Coordinate day to day site activities, including labour, plant, subcontractors, and logistics, to meet program and quality requirements. Lead Zero Harm practices on site through toolbox talks, inspections, risk management, and incident reporting. Plan and supervise daily, weekly, and short-term construction works, including resource and trade coordination. Monitor construction progress, safety, environmental compliance, and housekeeping standards. Actively managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of works. What you’ll bring Extensive construction experience, including at least 12 years in the industry and 2 years in a supervisory role. A trade background or AQF Certificate III in Construction (or equivalent qualification). Proven ability to manage site resources and deliver works valued between $10M and $50M. Strong planning, coordination, and commercial awareness, including short-term look ahead planning and cost/time control. A safety ‑ first mindset with a solid understanding of construction legislation, standards, and compliance requirements Defence experience is preferred but not essential This role is based at RAAF Base, Wagga Wagga.
