Forklift Driver – Yard Hand Innovative company providing unique battery recycling service Multi-skilled, practical & motivated individual sought Exciting opportunities to grow with this company from the ground up Our company, Battery Rescue, runs a used battery collection service, using our unique Battery Transport & Storage (BTS) Containers and Used Lithium Battery (ULIB) Boxes. We are in Bibra Lake and service the Metro Perth region and Western Australian mining sector. You will be responsible for; Washing and maintaining our fleet of battery boxes Loading/unloading from delivery trucks Inspecting and removing contamination from returned battery boxes Preparing the battery boxes for shipment to mine sites Maintaining a safe workplace The successful applicant should have: Permanent Australian work rights High-level English Forklift Licence or at least experience driving a forklift Some handyman skills Intermediate computer skills using email, spreadsheets and documents Local applicants to Bibra Lake preferred MR / HR License will be considered favourably We are seeking a hardworking, well organised team player who demonstrates a willingness to learn and attention to detail. The successful applicant should possess practical hand-skills and be comfortable using tools. This is a varied, full-time position ideal for someone who enjoys being busy and contributing to a strong team culture. The position is a full-time role with work hours being 8:00am - 4:00pm. The salary range is $38/hr to $42/hr depending upon the candidates experience and skills. An annual bonus will be paid subject to the business’ performance.
