Barefoot Explorers Killarney Vale is seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Director to join our supportive and dedicated team. About the Role The Assistant Director will work closely with the Centre Director to support the day-to-day operations of the service, guide educators, and help maintain high standards in line with the National Quality Framework . This role will also involve working across the centre with educators and children, with a focus on supporting our learning environments and strengthening team practices. Key Responsibilities Support the Director with the daily management of the service Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to educators Assist with maintaining compliance with the National Quality Standards and Regulations Support programming, documentation and curriculum planning Build strong, positive relationships with families, children and the team Contribute to continuous improvement and the centre’s Quality Improvement Plan Promote a positive, collaborative team culture About You Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education Current Child Protection training (CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025) Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework Previous leadership or senior educator experience preferred Excellent communication and organisational skills Passion for supporting educators and creating high-quality learning environments Current Working With Children Check , First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training What We Offer Supportive leadership team Opportunity to grow into leadership Positive team culture Professional development opportunities The chance to make a real impact in a service that values quality education and care If you are a motivated educator ready to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
