Vacancy Details POSITION: ORGANISATION UNIT: LOCATION: TENURE: CLOSING: SYNOPSIS: The Associate Registrar, Documentation & Storage oversees acquisitions and the management, storage, movement and documentation of the national collection. The role ensures works of art are accurately documented, securely stored, insured and accessible, supporting a collection of more than 155,000 works, including the world's largest collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art. The position provides specialist advice to the Head of Registration, the Registration team and the Gallery on collection management, documentation and acquisition processes, aligned with Australian and international best practice and continuous improvement. The position reports to the Head of Registration and is based at the National Gallery of Australia, Parkes.
