Primary Responsibilities Network Infrastructure: Review technical plans to identify project requirements and execute precise installation steps for telecommunication equipment. Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize specialized instruments to diagnose complex faults within telecommunication lines and equipment. System Integration: Manage the connection of wiring and sockets to telecommunication boards and fire safety interfaces. Life Safety Maintenance: Perform servicing and maintenance of property life safety systems in strict accordance with Australian Standards and manufacturers' specifications. Compliance & Safety: Maintain rigorous adherence to Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS). Resource Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of small plant and company vehicles, ensuring all logbooks and repairs are documented accurately. Mandatory Requirements Technical Qualification: Certificate III in Telecommunications. Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in telecommunications or multi-discipline technical roles. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and the ability to grasp emerging technology quickly. Physical Capability: Ability to perform physically demanding work, including operating at heights, navigating cramped spaces, and lifting tools or supplies. Visual Accuracy: Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to distinguish colours for intricate, color-coded wiring tasks. Licensing/ Certification: A valid, current driver’s licence, White card, Working at Heights and High-Risk work licence. Confined space and gas testing is a bonus.
