Genus is seeking experienced Electricians to join our team on the FMG Eliwana site , supporting construction works across the Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) Charging Bay project and Overhead Distribution Network infrastructure . This role offers the opportunity to work on a major decarbonisation initiative, helping deliver critical electrical infrastructure supporting FMG’s transition to electric mining assets. The Role Working within a site-based construction team, you will be responsible for delivering electrical installation works across both HME charging infrastructure and overhead line projects . Duties may include: Installation of HV & LV cables, cable ladder, conduit and underground services HV/LV cable terminations Lighting and small power installation Assisting with Stage 1 testing and commissioning activities Supporting construction of 33kV overhead and underground electrical infrastructure Working closely with supervisors and site teams to deliver works safely and efficiently What We Offer FIFO roster 2 weeks on / 1 week off Long-term projects opportunities Work with a leading electrical infrastructure contractor Supportive team environment on a major FMG project Mandatory Requirements To be considered for this role, you must hold: Valid Driver’s Licence Australian Electrical Licence CPR / LVR EWP Basic Fire Working at Heights (W@H) HRWL FMG Inducted (desirable) Pass Pre employement medical Provide National Police Clearance About You You are a reliable and safety-focused electrician who thrives in a construction environment and is comfortable working within remote FIFO project teams.
