We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic Registered Clinical Nurse to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality care and clinical support to our clients. This role is three days per week (0.6 FTE) and is based at our Ascot office, with the ability to cover holiday and sick leave. What You’ll Do The Registered Clinical Nurse provides comprehensive nursing assessments of Support@ Home (S@H) clients and other clinical procedures as needed. The position contributes to the effective delivery of S@H services for clients living in various locations throughout the Perth metropolitan area. The Registered Clinical Nurse also works closely with other Umbrella Inc. staff to create a welcoming and supportive environment. What You’ll Bring Nursing qualifications and current registration with AHPRA 2 years plus post qualifications in community care. Experience in Aged Care Services with an understanding of current Aged Care Quality Standards. High level of interpersonal communications and teamwork. Ability to deliver high quality services with an emphasis on person-centred care and maintaining consumer day-to-day independence and dignity. Experience in clinical and medical aspects of client assessment and care planning, holistic case management as well as review and monitoring of complex support needs. Experience in managing wound care, continence including catheter management, and medication administration. Ability to provide clinical/medical leadership, mentoring and guidance to Umbrella’s support staff. Ability to liaise with Umbrella’s management team and provide advice regarding client care needs. Experience in risk management, quality assurance and compliance activities. Hold a WA driver’s licence and own reliable car, for use between clients. An Umbrella company car will be available for use on most working days. National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months). Current AHPRA registration, CPR and Insurance for indemnity and liability. Desirable: Understanding of diversity, access, and equity principles when supporting older people from CaLD and LGBTIQA communities, and a sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards to ensure safe, inclusive, and person-centred services.
