The season is expected to run from early June 2026, will end approximately December 2026. Cane Transport – Rail Operation Positions Locomotive Driver’s Assistant Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, our Locomotive Drivers Assistant, in association with the driver, is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of cane trains in order to satisfy customer requirements (Empty and Full deliveries on time and in full). Hold Full Working Rights within Australia Have the ability and willingness to work shift work - we are a 24/7 operation An adequate level of physical fitness, such as mounting/dismounting locomotives, lifting and carrying objects, climbing stairs and ladders. Availability for full duration of crushing season.
