About the Role St Mark's is seeking a Maintenance Officer who will be responsible for ensuring the buildings and facilities at St Mark’s are well maintained. Key Responsibilities Carry out the following tasks as directed; Diagnose and complete day to day repairs, including; Minor plumbing, fixing leaks and removing blockages Mechanical/equipment failures Paving Graffiti removal Minor painting Roof plumbing Replacing light globes Assemble and install new equipment Fabricate classroom and other school fittings, including welding and cabinetwork Carry out preventative maintenance Proactively identify and resolve safety hazards Liaise with teaching and other staff General labour, including lifting Carry out minor projects as directed, including small-scale improvements or installations. Assist in setting up for school events, functions, and exams, ensuring spaces are prepared and equipment is in place. Role involves manual handling and working outdoors in varied conditions.
